About this template

A monthly journal email for a lifestyle shop that sells clothes and home pieces and writes about travel. It opens with a wordmark and a short menu, then a dark sea photo with the issue number and a calm headline in live text.

Two story panels follow, each with a photo on one side and a soft colored panel on the other: one trip, one room. Under a simple headline, two fashion pieces and three home pieces sit in white cards with a thin border, a short line about each, and a pink Shop now bar along the bottom of every card.

A second photo banner with a clothes rail invites readers to the full autumn collection, and a dark footer closes the email. The look comes from a classic designer layout: thin caps headings, a serif body, lots of white space and one soft accent color.

Swap the stories and picks every month and keep the frame. The cards work for any product with a photo and one sentence.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
