About this template

An update email for a photographer, a photo club or a small print shop that wants to send people straight to the newest work. The layout gets out of the way so the pictures do the talking.

It opens with a letter spaced wordmark and a wide winter photo with the headline, one line of text and a bright pink button on top. Below it, a centered Gallery heading and one sentence explain what is new.

The main part is a two column grid of six album covers. Each cover has the album name in bold and its category in small grey text, and each photo links to its own album page, so readers can jump straight to the set they like.

A light footer with the studio address closes the email. Change the albums each month, keep the one pink accent, and use landscape crops of the same size so the grid stays even on every screen.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
