About this template

A seasonal update for environmental charities, river trusts and conservation groups. Supporters want to see where their gifts went, so it shows the places and the work instead of charts and big numbers.

A wide photo of a river running through forest carries the headline and a button in live text. A short heading opens the field report, followed by three tall photo columns, one per project, each with a plain story and a link to read more. A divider leads to a quote from the director in her own words, then one button invites readers to fund the next season of work. Social links and the footer close the email.

Deep teal, white space and a classic serif keep it calm and serious without feeling heavy.

Use photos from your own projects and keep each story to two short lines.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
