About this template

An invite email for a document editor, whiteboard or any team app where people share files. It answers the three questions people have when they open an invite: who, what and why.

A blue wordmark sits top left. The first line names the person who sent the invite and the document in bold, and the next lines show their own note in italics, so the email feels personal even though it is automatic.

A full width blue button accepts the invite in one tap, and a small help line follows. There is nothing else to distract from the single action.

Fill the name, document title and note from your app. If the sender leaves no note, drop the italic paragraph.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
