About this template

A transactional email that confirms a new account on an online learning site, course platform or app. People only open it to click one button, so the design keeps that button big, blue and alone.

The logo sits at the top, then a small envelope icon with a green check. A heading and one sentence ask the reader to confirm the address. A wide button does the job, and under it a muted backup link helps anyone whose button does not load. A thin line separates the small print: how long the link works and what to do if they did not sign up.

Send it the moment the form is submitted. Keep the subject line plain, like Confirm your email, so it is easy to find. Set the link to expire within 24 hours, and never add promotions here; spam filters watch these emails closely.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
