About this template

This shipping email is our own design for Kettle & Clay, a sample ceramics shop. It uses clay and terracotta tones that match handmade goods, with a parcel illustration that sets the mood before the details.

A short heading says the order is on the way and gives the expected delivery day. The tracking number sits in a dashed code box, so it is easy to copy. The items shipped follow with small pictures, then a terracotta button opens the carrier page. A muted note asks people to unpack fragile items over a soft surface.

Send it the moment the label is printed. Put the delivery day in the subject line. For split shipments, list only the items in this parcel and say that the rest will follow.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
