About this template

An email that sends people to download a mobile app, for example after a friend shares a game or a link. It has a soft, playful look that suits games and consumer apps.

The page is pale pink with a white panel. A rounded purple wordmark and a two line note explain who shared the app and what to do next.

A large square photo of a phone held in one hand shows the app in use. Two black buttons sit side by side below it, one for iPhone and one for Android, and stack on small screens.

The footer is only a copyright line and the required links. Replace the photo with a screenshot of your own app in a hand or on a plain background.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
