About this template

An onboarding email for a second hand or peer to peer marketplace, sent the moment a seller publishes their first item. It congratulates them and turns the next steps into a short checklist.

A serif wordmark and a red headline open the email, followed by a small card that shows the listing itself: a photo of the boots, the label, the size and the price. Seeing their own item makes the email feel personal.

A short letter leads into four numbered tips: connect a payout account, lower the price or bump the listing, answer offers and ship within five days. Each tip starts with a bold lead in so it is easy to scan.

A red button invites the seller to list more items. The legal links sit in the footer.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
