About this template

Money apps need reset emails that feel safe. This dark design for Coinwell, a sample banking app, uses a deep navy card and a calm mint accent. A small lock illustration sits at the top, followed by a clear heading and the reset button.

Next comes a panel with the request details: date, time, browser and rough location. People use these facts to judge if the request was theirs. Three help links in columns cover the case when it was not: lock the account, call support, read security tips.

Keep the expiry short, 30 minutes is common for banks. Fill the device row from your login logs, never guess it. Do not add marketing to this email, because a promo next to a security message lowers trust.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
