About this template

A win-back email for a clothing or accessories brand, sent to customers who have not ordered in a few months. It is warm rather than pushy and gives one clear reason to come back.

A spaced wordmark sits above a burnt orange band with a small label, a big personal headline and one line about the offer. Below the band the discount is the hero: a very large 25 percent, a short line saying it applies to everything, the end date, a dashed box with the code and a black button to shop.

A second section catches the reader up on what changed while they were away. Three short items, each with a small product photo, a bold title and one line, cover a new fit, a restock and the last of a season. The email ends with an honest note that offers fewer emails or an easy way out, signed by the team.

The structure follows a modern designer win-back template. Change the percent and the code, keep the three updates real and current, and never hide the unsubscribe link.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
