About this template

A review request for small hotels, inns and guesthouses, sent a day or two after checkout. It opens on a turquoise cove below the cliffs, so the guest remembers the stay before reading a word.

Under the photo a short serif headline asks how the time by the sea went, and one navy button leads to the review form. A row of three small icons tells guests what happens to their words: the team reads every note, small fixes come first, and the form takes about two minutes. A short paragraph lists the questions you care about most.

The email closes with a dark navy panel and a breakfast tray photo that invites the guest back with a free first morning tray when they book direct. The calm white and navy palette suits coastal inns, lake lodges and country hotels.

Change the photo, the inn name and the offer, and connect the button to your review page or survey tool.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
