About this template

SaaS teams can send this Net Promoter Score survey to active customers every few months. The design is almost plain text on white, so it reads like a note from a person on the product team, not a marketing blast.

A small wordmark sits at the top, then a two-line greeting. The question appears as a clear heading, followed by the numbers 0 to 10 as a single row of links, and a key that says which end is which. One paragraph explains what happens after the click. A signature from the head of product closes it.

Each number should link to a page that saves the score right away, so one click is enough. Send it to people who used the product in the last 30 days, and never more often than once a quarter for the same person.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
