About review request emails

A review request asks a happy customer to share their opinion in public. Reviews build trust for the next buyer, so this small email can have a big effect on sales.

Our review request templates remind the person what they bought or booked, often with an image, and then ask one simple question. The star rating sits right in the email as large links, so a review starts with one tap. A short line says how long it takes, and some templates add a reward, such as loyalty points.

Timing matters most. Ask after the customer has had time to use the product or enjoy the stay, not on the day the parcel ships. Send one reminder at most, and never offer a reward only for good reviews.

Questions

When should I ask for a review?

After the customer has used the product: about 7 to 14 days after delivery for goods, one or two days after a stay or a service.

Can I offer a reward for reviews?

You can thank people for any honest review. Do not reward only positive ones; many review sites forbid that.

Where should the review link go?

To the page where the review counts most: your product page, Google, or a review site your buyers trust.
