About this template

Someone joined a waitlist weeks ago, and now it is their turn. This email tells them straight away and gives them what they need to buy. Pedal & Pine Cycles is the sample shop, with a bike ready in its workshop.

A photo of the workshop fills the top, and a left-aligned headline under it says the reader is next. The personal code comes straight after that in a dashed box, since it is the thing they came for. A row of three figures gives the hold time, the size held and the price. One full-width button goes straight to checkout with the code applied.

State the real hold time and what happens when it ends. Set the deadline in your own system too, so the promise in the email stays true. It fits any product with a queue and limited stock.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
