About this template

Send this when a beta or new feature opens to the people who asked for it. It opens on large, left aligned words on a dark background, with no photo and no logo row, so it reads more like a note from the product team than a launch banner.

A video thumbnail with a lime play button shows the feature in use. Three checked points cover what is in the beta and what to expect, and a single button turns it on. The email assumes the reader already knows the product, so the copy stays short.

It suits note apps, developer tools and small software teams. Swap the video link and the three points, and say plainly how long the invite stays open.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
