About this template

An invitation for a college career office, a job fair organizer or a trade school open day. It has to tell students three things quickly: when it is, where to go, and who they will meet.

The email opens on a full photo of a grand campus hall with the headline written over it in live text, left aligned, plus a register button. A details card follows with the date, the hours and the address. Below that, a grid of three captioned photos shows each hall and the kind of employers in it, so students can plan their afternoon. A final button leads to the employer list.

Condensed headings and a deep college red give it the feel of a printed event poster. Use your own campus photos and keep each caption to a hall name and a few words.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
