About this template

A salon loses money every time a chair sits empty, and a simple reminder the day before fixes most of that. Studio Verbena is the sample salon here. The email opens on a two-part panel: a greeting on deep green on the left, and a black and white photo of chairs and mirrors on the right.

An event card then holds the service, day, time and address. Two buttons of the same size and weight follow, because rescheduling should feel just as easy as confirming. A muted line sets out the cancellation rule in one sentence.

Change the stylist, the service and the time for each booking. It also works for barbers, nail bars and other services that run on appointments, as long as the rule in the small print matches your own.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
