About this template

A thank you email for conference organizers, meetup hosts and event agencies to send the day after an event. Attendees want two things: the material from the talks, and a quick way to say what worked. This email gives both and nothing else.

A photo of the audience seen from behind sits under a warm headline, a thank you line and a button to the slides. A heading introduces what to catch up on, with two photo columns: session replays and slides with speaker notes, each with a link. A divider leads to a short survey section that says how many questions there are and what the answers are used for, with one button to start. The footer closes the email.

Soft violet, white space and a round sans serif keep it friendly and modern.

Swap the links and the event name, and send it within 24 hours while the talks are still fresh.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
