About this template

A thank you email for charities, clubs and member societies to send on the day a membership turns one year old. It celebrates the member, not the organization, and it keeps every claim to things the group really did.

A full width photo of a kingfisher on a branch carries the headline in live text, with a short thank you and a button to the member page. Three green line icons sum up the kind of work the membership supports: green corridors, cleaner ponds and wildlife counts. Two photo columns tell short stories from local parks, each with a link. A quote from the director thanks members in her own words, and the footer closes the note.

Soft forest greens, a warm display serif and a lot of white space keep it calm and personal.

Swap the bird for an animal from your own area and update the park stories each season.

Use it in your email tool

  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
