About this template

A thank you email for the first order at a small online shop, written here for a plant nursery. It does not try to sell much. It thanks the customer, says what happens next and helps the new plant settle in.

A calm photo of a snake plant beside a made bed sits under a soft serif headline and a Track my order button. A short letter from the founder explains how the order is packed, signed with a name and role. Three green line icons give first week care tips in a few words each, and a photo row with a windowsill of potted trees links to the full care guide. A small code for the next order closes the email.

Use it in your email tool

  1. Click Copy HTML, or download the .html file.
  2. In Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot or Klaviyo, start a new email with the custom HTML or code editor and paste it in.
  3. Change the text, links and images. Map merge tags such as {{first_name}} and {{unsubscribe_url}} to the tags of your tool.
  4. Send a test to yourself on desktop and phone before you send it to your list.
