About re-engagement emails

Every list has quiet people. They signed up, they bought once, and then they stopped opening. A re-engagement email, also called a win-back email, is your chance to bring them back, or to let them go in a friendly way.

The best win-back emails are honest and short. Say you noticed they have been away. Show what is new since their last visit. Give them a real reason to come back, such as a discount, a free month or a new feature. And make it easy to leave: a clear unsubscribe link keeps your list clean and protects your sender reputation.

Our re-engagement templates follow that plan. A warm heading with the first name, a short note, a few new things in columns, a coupon box, and one button. They use merge tags such as {{first_name}}, which you can map to your own email tool.

Each template uses tables and inline CSS and stacks on phones.

Questions

Who should get a re-engagement email?

People who have not opened or clicked in about 90 days, or customers who have not bought in a normal buying cycle for your shop.

What if they still do not come back?

Send one or two more, then stop mailing them or remove them. Quiet addresses hurt your delivery to everyone else.

Do I need a discount?

Not always. A real update or a useful guide can work too. A discount works best when price was the reason they left.
